Ibrahim Kalin, head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization, conducted high-level meetings in Tehran alongside Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman and Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir. The delegation engaged with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and security official Mohsen Rezaei. Discussions centered on addressing ongoing instability in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and the Strait of Hormuz, while emphasizing the necessity of regional cooperation and collective security. The talks also touched upon potential negotiations between the United States and Iran. These deliberations underscored the strategic importance of the Mecca Defense Alliance, established earlier this year between Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, to foster regional resilience and deterrence amid heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
