Uzbekistan’s sports delegation achieved significant success on the thirteenth day of the Asian Games, securing a total of 65 medals. The country’s athletes earned gold medals in boxing, judo, and taekwondo, with notable victories from Turabek Khabibullayev, Abdumalik Khalokov, Muzaffarbek Turaboyev, and Jasurbek Jaysunov. Additional podium finishes included silver medals for Jakhongir Zokirov and Ozoda Sobirjonova, alongside bronze medals in tennis, cycling, and judo. The boxing team performed particularly well, finishing first in the men’s team standings with a total of seven medals. Despite some setbacks in women’s wrestling, the national delegation currently holds fourth place in the overall medal table, comprising 20 gold, 23 silver, and 22 bronze medals.
