Starting October 25, Wizz Air will resume eight flight routes connecting the United Arab Emirates to various European destinations. This expansion will facilitate 32 weekly flights, primarily serving Abu Dhabi with 20 weekly services across six routes, while Dubai will receive 12 weekly flights across two routes. These connections link the UAE to cities in Cyprus, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria. The airline had previously suspended these operations in late February due to regional instability and airspace closures. It is important to note that this development does not involve the revival of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the local subsidiary that stopped functioning last September. Instead, these flights are integrated into the carrier's broader European network.
