Al Jazeera Documentary has initiated a call for submissions targeting Arab documentary filmmakers. The program aims to identify high-quality regional films that are either in the post-production phase or have already been completed. Participants can request assistance through three distinct categories: full production funding, co-production partnerships, or acquisition deals. Interested parties must submit their proposals via the network's digital portal between September 22 and September 29, with the deadline set for midnight Doha time. Each production company is restricted to a single entry. Eligible submissions include either rough cuts of documentaries currently in development or links to finalized works. This effort is designed to provide greater visibility for regional cinematic talent and facilitate the distribution of their work to broader audiences.
