Nazrul Islam, a 35-year-old accounting instructor at Iqra Abdul Jabbar High School in Lohagara, was assaulted by a group of youths on September 4. While walking along Shahid Major Nazmul Haque Road in the evening, the teacher was confronted by several teenagers who questioned him regarding a previous police report. The assailants proceeded to stab him multiple times with knives and razors before stealing his mobile phone and 45,000 taka. Following the attack, the suspects fled the scene, leaving the victim severely injured. The teacher is currently recovering from the physical trauma sustained during the incident, which has left visible scars on his body. Local authorities are investigating the violent confrontation that occurred in the Amirabad union of Chattogram.
