The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development has updated its economic projections for Kazakhstan, raising the anticipated gross domestic product growth for 2027 to 5 percent. According to the organization's latest regional report, the nation is expected to see a 6.5 percent expansion in 2025, followed by 5 percent growth in both 2026 and 2027. Projections indicate a subsequent moderation to 4.2 percent in 2028 and 4.1 percent in 2029. Analysts attribute this positive trend to consistent oil output, significant infrastructure investments, and supportive fiscal measures. While the fund anticipates a steady reduction in inflation over the coming years, it also cautions that robust consumer demand and ongoing government spending could potentially hinder efforts to stabilize price levels.
