Two individuals sustained injuries on Sunday following the interception of ballistic missiles launched by Houthi forces toward the Asir region. According to the General Directorate of Civil Defense, the remnants of the destroyed projectiles landed in the Khamis Mushait and Ahad Rafidah governorates. The casualties include one Saudi national and one expatriate from Asia. Furthermore, the impact of the falling debris resulted in structural damage to three residential properties and caused destruction to seven vehicles parked in the vicinity. Emergency response teams were deployed to the affected areas to manage the situation and implement necessary safety protocols following the incident.
