Authorities in the Philippines confirmed that floodwaters in various sections of Metro Manila began to recede by Wednesday morning. According to the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department, key thoroughfares such as España Boulevard are now fully accessible to all vehicle types. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority noted that while some areas, including parts of Quezon City near Mindanao and Aurora Avenues, experienced minor gutter-deep flooding, these routes remain open to traffic. Although N. S. Amoranto Avenue reported deeper water levels reaching tire height, the overall situation across the capital region has improved significantly, allowing for the resumption of normal transportation services throughout the day.
