JJ Thompson, who gained initial recognition as a contestant on The X Factor in 2013, has navigated a diverse career path that included radio broadcasting and a failed podcast production venture during the pandemic. Following the closure of his business, which required him to sell personal assets to cover staff obligations, Thompson pivoted to the Dubai real estate sector in 2024. Despite starting without a guaranteed salary at the brokerage firm Strada, he has since achieved a monthly income of approximately Dh130,000.
