International oil markets experienced a fourth consecutive day of growth, pushing Brent crude futures to 99.49 dollars per barrel, a rise of 1.6 percent. Simultaneously, US West Texas Intermediate crude increased by 1.72 percent, reaching 94.63 dollars per barrel. These market fluctuations follow recent military engagements involving Iranian strikes against American assets situated in the Persian Gulf. Since the beginning of August, Brent crude values have surged by approximately 25 percent. This upward trend is largely attributed to the intensification of regional hostilities and the diminishing prospects for a lasting diplomatic resolution to the ongoing six-month conflict.
