An Iranian creative team has been commissioned to produce the official campaign trailer for the 2026 International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA). Following their success at the 2025 festival with the documentary "A Fox Under a Pink Moon," directors Mehrdad Oskouei and Soraya Akhlaghi were invited to lead the project. They are joined by editor Mohammad Babaee and composer Afshin Azizi. The trailer utilizes footage from past festival entries, which Akhlaghi modifies with her own illustrations to address themes of conflict, migration, and hope. The production process itself was a collaborative international effort, involving artists working from locations including Berlin, France, the Netherlands, Iran, and Ukraine. The project aims to highlight the capacity of art to offer a perspective of humanity and resilience amidst global violence, continuing the artistic dialogue established in their award-winning film.
