Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, a senior adviser to the IRGC commander, stated that Iran's opponents have abandoned hopes of military success, shifting their strategy toward economic sanctions and domestic destabilization. Citing the US withdrawals from Iraq and Afghanistan, Naqdi argued that Washington recognizes the limitations of its military power and the high costs of a potential conflict with Iran. He emphasized that Iran’s advanced naval and missile capabilities have forced a reassessment of regional military calculations. Furthermore, Naqdi warned that any future aggression would trigger a severe response targeting strategic infrastructure and regional assets. He concluded by urging national unity to counter efforts aimed at exploiting internal divisions, while characterizing the reduction of US naval presence in the Persian Gulf as a clear sign of the failure of American regional military policy.
