The Japanese government is exploring the introduction of a dedicated aviation category within its existing foreign labor framework. Rather than expanding the total number of international workers permitted to enter the country, officials plan to transition 300 individuals currently enrolled in the Specified Skilled Worker program into this new aviation-focused sector. This strategic shift aims to address specific staffing requirements within the aviation industry by reallocating current human resources rather than increasing the overall intake of foreign personnel.
