The Kazakh electronic trading platform e-Qazyna.kz has listed one ton of saiga antelope horns for sale. Managed by the state-owned entity Zhasyl Damu JSC, the auction follows a directive issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources on July 30, 2026. The total valuation for the inventory is approximately 1.2 billion tenge, with the price per kilogram established at 2,600 US dollars. Documentation provided for the sale indicates that the horns measure 25 centimeters in length and are currently stored in containers. This initiative represents an official effort to manage saiga derivatives through regulated commercial channels.
