A 23-year-old student from the National University of Singapore, identified as Zeng Ze Qun, has entered a guilty plea for recording a female housemate while she was showering. The incident took place on August 18 when the defendant observed the victim entering the bathroom and subsequently used his mobile phone to capture footage through a window. Upon being discovered by the 22-year-old victim, the perpetrator fled the premises and attempted to destroy the digital evidence by deleting the captured files. The defendant later admitted that he engaged in this behavior as a method to cope with academic pressure. Legal proceedings are currently underway following his confession in court on October 20.
