During the twenty-fourth day of the impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte, House prosecutor Chel Diokno addressed the handling of a subpoena issued by the Senate Impeachment Court. Diokno confirmed that the legal document intended for former Sandiganbayan presiding justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang was routed through his office. He stated that this specific arrangement was implemented to safeguard the justice from possible harassment. The matter was raised for discussion during the trial session following inquiries from Senator Imee Marcos regarding the procedural handling of the subpoena.
