The Russian Orthodox Church has transported bone fragments from the hand of Grand Prince Dmitry Donskoy to the front lines in the Donetsk region. Donskoy, a 14th-century figure canonized as a saint, is celebrated for his historical victory against the Mongol Golden Horde. Church officials stated that the relic, which was discovered during recent restoration efforts at the Kremlin's Cathedral of the Archangel, is intended to provide spiritual support to Russian soldiers currently engaged in the conflict in Ukraine. President Vladimir Putin previously examined the remains after their discovery this summer. The relic, housed in a protective casket, is scheduled to be displayed to various combat units stationed along the front, serving as a symbolic gesture of historical and religious alignment with the ongoing military campaign.
