The Saudi Arabian government announced that its critical East-West Pipeline sustained damage and casualties following a drone attack launched from Iraq. Despite the severity of the incident, Riyadh has decided to delay any retaliatory military action. This decision follows a formal request from the Iraqi Prime Minister, who sought time to implement internal measures aimed at preventing future cross-border strikes from Iraqi soil. While the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed strong condemnation of the assault, they confirmed their support for Baghdad's efforts to stabilize the situation. Nevertheless, the Kingdom emphasized that it maintains the right to defend its national security, infrastructure, and population if further threats emerge. Repairs to the affected facilities are currently underway as the government monitors the diplomatic developments regarding the security of its energy assets.
