Search and rescue personnel from the Makkah region's Border Guard successfully assisted two Bangladeshi residents whose vessel suffered a mechanical failure while at sea near Rabigh. Following the rescue operation, the General Directorate of Border Guard issued a reminder to all maritime users regarding the importance of adhering to safety protocols. Officials emphasized the necessity of ensuring that boats are in proper working condition before departing from the shore. Furthermore, the authorities provided guidance for emergency situations, instructing the public to contact 911 for assistance in the Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern Province regions, or 994 for incidents occurring in other parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
