Sharjah Police successfully located and returned a collection of amber prayer beads valued at over $100,000 within a day of the incident. The investigation commenced following a complaint from a Chinese citizen who had been targeted after listing the items for sale online. The victim was contacted by individuals posing as potential buyers, who arranged a meeting in Sharjah to examine the goods. During this encounter, the suspects deceived the owner and absconded with the valuable collection. Upon receiving the report, the Criminal Investigations Department deployed specialized units to track the perpetrators. Dr. Khalifa Al Hay, the department's director, confirmed that the rapid response and investigative efforts led to the swift arrest of the two suspects and the full recovery of the stolen property.
