A 65-year-old school janitor, Thaweep Klinboonma, succumbed to his injuries after being stabbed during a confrontation at a school in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district on September 8, 2026. Authorities were notified of the incident around noon at a facility located in Pratu Chai Subdistrict. Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered the victim unconscious near a security post, suffering from two stab wounds to his chest and rib area. Despite receiving immediate medical attention and being transported to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Hospital, the victim passed away. The suspect, identified as a school security guard named Anek, initially escaped the premises following the altercation. Local police initiated a search operation and successfully apprehended the individual shortly thereafter to face legal proceedings regarding the fatal attack.
