Supermarket chain Sheng Siong has announced an increase in its discount rate for Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) Blue and Orange cardholders. Starting immediately, the discount for these eligible customers will rise from four percent to six percent. This promotional offer is scheduled to remain in effect until January 1, 2027. Under the updated policy, Blue cardholders are eligible for the six percent discount every Thursday, while Orange cardholders can access the same benefit every Friday. This initiative follows a temporary increase implemented by the retailer in June 2026. The company stated that this adjustment is intended to assist households in managing their daily grocery expenditures more effectively during the coming months.
