A recent poll conducted by CGTN involving over 12,000 participants across 41 nations reveals that a significant majority perceive BRICS as having a rising impact on international relations. With the 18th BRICS Summit commencing in New Delhi, the data highlights that more than 60 percent of those surveyed acknowledge the group's expanding presence on the world stage. Furthermore, 63 percent of participants expressed a favorable view regarding the organization's efforts to enhance global governance structures. Many respondents identified the bloc as a primary advocate for the Global South, emphasizing its potential to foster a more equitable international framework. The findings reflect widespread recognition of the alliance's evolving role in shaping global policy and addressing systemic challenges within the current international order.
