The Houthi movement in Yemen has announced strikes against Saudi Arabia's East-West crude oil pumping stations and the airport in Riyadh. Saudi authorities have not yet verified these claims. Prior to the Houthi announcement, the Saudi-led coalition reported the destruction of two ballistic missile launchers in Sanaa, noting that one had been utilized to target Riyadh before being intercepted. The Houthis have frequently deployed drones and missiles against Saudi oil facilities and transport hubs, escalating regional tensions. Meanwhile, King Khalid International Airport has partially resumed operations at two terminals, despite ongoing threats from the group, which continues to categorize the facility as a legitimate military target. This ongoing conflict highlights the persistent security challenges facing Saudi energy infrastructure and civilian aviation.
