The Bara District Court has mandated that two minors be held in a juvenile correction facility while awaiting trial for the abduction, sexual assault, and killing of 12-year-old Garima Chaudhary from Simara. Judge Prakash Kumar Adhikari issued this ruling on September 9, citing substantial evidence including DNA analysis, medical findings, autopsy results, and investigative testimonies. While these two individuals remain in custody, the court granted bail to ten other suspects involved in the case. Furthermore, the judiciary has directed authorities to issue an interim compensation payment of Rs 200,000 to the victim's family. The legal proceedings will continue as the court determined there were valid grounds to pursue charges against the two juveniles.
