Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil has urged Malaysia's younger citizens to study the nation's history and value the efforts made by earlier generations to establish a harmonious society. Speaking in Kuching, Fahmi identified three primary dangers to national stability: communism, communalism, and corruption. While noting that the historical threat of communism has been neutralized, he emphasized that the country must remain cautious regarding communalism, which occurs when individuals prioritize their own ethnic group to the detriment or oppression of others. Furthermore, he warned that corruption poses a significant risk to the country's long-term prosperity. Fahmi encouraged the youth to reject these divisive and unethical practices to ensure a secure future for the nation.
