Researchers from the Space Research Institute and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics have issued a forecast regarding potential geomagnetic activity. Between the night of October 19 and October 20, Earth may encounter a stream of solar wind emanating from a significant coronal hole on the Sun. This dark solar region, which extends nearly a million kilometers from the south pole toward the equator, is expected to produce disturbances lasting between 10 and 15 hours. Experts estimate a 50 percent likelihood that these solar conditions will trigger a minor magnetic storm as the dense stream grazes the planet. The scientific community continues to monitor these solar developments closely to assess the potential impact on Earth's geomagnetic environment.
