Jay B, the leader of the K-pop group GOT7, has officially released his third physical single, titled Chptr. 1. This project marks the start of a new series designed to allow the artist to explore musical genres outside of the R&B style that has defined his solo career thus far. During a press interview held in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on Tuesday, Jay B explained that this release represents both a fresh start and a departure from his previous work. While acknowledging that his past discography was heavily rooted in R&B, he emphasized that his personal musical interests are much broader. By initiating this new series, he intends to experiment with different sounds and demonstrate his versatility as a musician, moving beyond the expectations established by his earlier solo projects.
