Intense rainfall on the evening of October 2 caused rapid flash flooding in the Tha Takiap district of Chachoengsao, Thailand. The surge of water began around 6 p.m., trapping rubber plantation workers and prompting them to seek assistance via social media. Significant infrastructure damage occurred in the Khlong Takrao subdistrict, where strong currents compromised local road networks. Local authorities, including the Subdistrict Administrative Organisation and military personnel from Ranger Company 1306, coordinated emergency evacuation efforts for affected residents. Additionally, community leaders utilized heavy machinery to redirect floodwaters near the Ban Nong Kha Yang market area. Officials have advised all local inhabitants to relocate their personal property and vehicles to elevated locations to prevent further losses as the situation remains volatile.
