A 34-year-old Indonesian domestic helper has been sentenced to 11 weeks in prison following a series of physical assaults against her 69-year-old employer. The victim, who suffers from multiple health conditions including Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes, required full-time assistance for daily tasks. According to court records, the abuse occurred on April 20 when the worker became frustrated by the man's persistent nagging. Surveillance footage captured the defendant slapping the victim and pinching his nose while pretending to assist him with hygiene during breakfast. The evidence confirmed eight distinct instances of physical mistreatment. The worker's actions were discovered through CCTV recordings, leading to her prosecution for the abuse of a vulnerable individual under her care.
