Starting October 28, the Mandala Theatre in Kathmandu will present the surrealist theatrical production Bhag Bheda Bhag. Written and directed by Samyog Guragain, the play utilizes a satirical narrative involving both human and animal characters to examine themes of systemic corruption, political manipulation, and the fragility of power structures built upon dishonesty. The plot centers on a protagonist attempting to evade the repercussions of his deceitful actions. The production is scheduled to run through November 7, with daily performances at 5:15 pm, excluding Mondays. Furthermore, the theater has organized an extra matinee show at 1 pm every Saturday to accommodate audiences. Santosh Giri is credited as the assistant director for this project, which aims to provide a critical perspective on contemporary social and political dynamics.
