This initiative utilizes laboratory analysis and risk-based oversight to ensure consumer protection. Data indicates that only 3% of the examined items failed to satisfy technical regulations. Specifically, fresh produce performed well, with 98% of the 1,476 fruit and vegetable samples meeting established quality criteria, including assessments for pesticide residues. These findings demonstrate the ongoing efficacy of the country's regulatory framework in maintaining food safety across various product categories.
