These patients are currently receiving medical care at a local hospital, where their condition is described as stable. Health officials have characterized the severity of their infections as ranging from mild to moderate. Rospotrebnadzor, the national consumer rights and human welfare watchdog, is actively overseeing the situation and implementing protocols to track potential further transmissions. The agency confirmed that Russia maintains an adequate inventory of diagnostic tools capable of identifying the virus, including its more recent variants. Following the initial hospitalization on October 17, medical experts initiated an epidemiological investigation to trace the contacts of those infected and contain the spread of the disease.
