Authorities in Kathmandu have taken two Indian citizens into custody following the discovery of illicit drugs shipped from the United States. The Narcotics Control Bureau identified the suspects as 23-year-old Bhawar Singh and 33-year-old Bandit Patel. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Jeevan Niraula, the operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 1.338 kilograms of marijuana. The contraband had been concealed within a courier package labeled as official documents to evade detection. The suspects were apprehended by a specialized team from the Kotheshwor branch of the bureau, and investigations into the smuggling attempt are currently ongoing.
