Almaty police have apprehended a foreign visitor following reports of inappropriate behavior toward a woman on the Terrenkur walking path. The suspect, who had entered Kazakhstan only one day prior to the incident, reportedly touched the victim without consent. Officers from the Medeu District successfully located and detained the individual. A local court has sentenced the man to 15 days of administrative detention. Furthermore, authorities have initiated legal proceedings to determine if the individual should be permitted to continue his stay in the country. Law enforcement officials emphasized that public order and the rights of citizens are strictly protected, and any violations will be met with firm legal consequences.
