The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is intensifying efforts to unify opposition factions ahead of its planned demonstration on September 27. A delegation led by Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and Asad Qaiser visited Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman to discuss the upcoming protest and the potential for an all-parties conference. The PTI aims to address national political, economic, and constitutional concerns through this collaborative approach. According to party leadership, the scheduled march is intended to be a peaceful event focused on advocating for fresh elections, the defense of constitutional rights, and the pursuit of justice. These ongoing consultations reflect a strategic push by the PTI to consolidate support among various opposition groups to challenge the current political landscape effectively.
