Authorities in Udayapur have confiscated more than 1,040 kilograms of marijuana during two distinct law enforcement operations. In the first incident, officers from the Beltar Area Police Office discovered 940 kilograms of the substance packed into 29 sacks inside a parked Bolero vehicle along the Rani Tar–Beltar road. While the vehicle was secured, the individuals responsible for the transport managed to evade capture. In a separate operation, police from the Katari station apprehended one individual in possession of an additional 100 kilograms of marijuana near the Saguri bridge. Law enforcement officials are continuing their investigation into the illicit shipments, as several suspects involved in the first seizure remain at large.
