This multi-sectoral initiative serves as a primary operational framework for the upcoming six months, aiming to bolster containment and health efforts. To successfully implement these measures, authorities are seeking $1.3 billion in financial support. The program is being developed with technical guidance and assistance from the World Health Organization, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and various other global health entities. This coordinated approach is designed to intensify the regional response to the viral outbreak and mitigate its impact on the population through structured, collaborative action.
